Summer AIR Mobile Contest 2010 CZ/SK

Adobe Czech Republic in cooperation with the youth conference JuniorInternet (by Together CZ) is opening an innovative contest for Czech and Slovak developers to celebrate mobile versions of Flash Player 10.1 and AIR for Android. Enter and win a Google Nexus One or Creative Suite 5!

How can you enter

Possibility #1:
Build an app in AIR for Android or Flash Player 10.1 with a user interface optimized for mobile experience
Resolution: 800×480
Current Flex usage is not recommended for mobile apps; instead use pure ActionScript 3.0 with Flash CS5 Professional.
Recommendation: Games, Utilities

or

Possibility #2:
Build an AIR 2.0 desktop app
No restrictions.
Tips: Widgets, Games, Utilities
Try using new AIR 2.0 APIs like ServerSocket, DatagramSocket, P2P, NativeProcess, Multi-Touch
*You can build your AIR 2.0 desktop app for this contest using Flash/Flex/AS3 or HTML5/JS/CSS3.

Submit your app
When you are done, post a video screencast of you application to YouTube.com and send us a link to a site or your .air file with YouTube link for a review.

There is no age limit of a creator. Anyone can enter the contest.

Originality note
The most original apps will win. Try combining latest trends such as Facebook, Twitter, GPS, maps, with latest AIR 2.0 features such as multi-touch, accelerometer, audio/video NetStream appendBytes access and so on.
Important: The app must be built originally for this contest, but we surely encourage it’s further usage afterwards. So keep in mind, that it can also be part of your new project you are working on - the idea is to leverage the latest available possibilities of AIR 2.0 and Flash Player 10.1.

Get AIR for Android
AIR for Android is currently in prerelease. You can sign-up here: http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/air2/android/. AIR for Android enables you to build standalone apps, which you will be able to distribute over Android Market in the future. AIR for Android adds significant features to existing Flash possibilities on mobile devices.
